Hi, I am John Allen! I have the privilege of serving as the Associate College Minister here at Beaumont’s First Baptist Church. My desire is to see college students know Christ more deeply, grow in their love for Scripture, and faithfully follow Him in every season of life. I believe some of the most meaningful ministry happens through intentional relationships and walking alongside people as they grow in their faith. Whether I am teaching, meeting with students over coffee, or serving alongside others, my prayer is that Christ would be exalted above everything else.
I am currently pursuing my BA-MDiv biblical studies through Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. When I am not working or doing school, though, I love watching the Dallas Mavericks, or really anything basketball-related, playing guitar, watching TV, and spending time with my fiancé, Aubri.
John 3:30 “He must Increase, but I must decrease.” has become a staple verse in my personal life and in ministry. My hope is that everything that I do will be for the Glory of God and nothing for my own gain.

Hey there! My name is Nate Jordan and I am the Next Gen Pastor at Beaumont’s First Baptist Church. I am a born and raised Southeast Texan and have lived here most of my life. My journey with Jesus began at the age of 8 years when I responded to the Gospel on a Sunday morning in my home church. Since then I had an up and down road of faith until my time in college, when I told Jesus “Whatever you want from me, you can have it!” I had no idea what that meant then, but here I am now.
I have been in full time youth ministry since 2009 and on staff at FBC since 2017. My wife, Jaimee, and I met at East Texas Baptist University and are both graduates from there. We have been married since 2004. We have two children, Luke and Hannah, and our life revolves around Renov8 (FBC youth ministry), and chasing our kids hobbies and sports.
In my free time I enjoy doing Crossfit, Duck hunting, fishing, golfing, and really most anything outdoors. I also love movies, especially Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. I am also a huge fan of the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys.
I believe that junior high and high school students are not a future version of the church, but they are the church of today. What God is doing in their lives through disciple-making is so amazing and I believe we will see the fruit of that for many years to come. Students are being led to BE disciples of Jesus and are learning to MAKE disciples of Jesus. Praise God!
BE ONE. MAKE ONE.
