20. SANCTIFICATION: You Are Blessed by the Law

Paul reveals that the purpose of God's Law is not to save us but to expose our sin. The Law, therefore, is good and holy in that it acts like a mirror, showing us the reality of our sinfulness and our inability to meet God's perfect standard. Ultimately, the Law highlights our need for a savior, pointing us towards the grace found in Jesus Christ.
